Birthday Anniversary of Imam Muhammad Taqi al-Jawad (PBUH)
Congratulations on the birthday anniversary of Imam Muhammad Taqi al-Jawad, the only son of Imam Ali al-Riza (PBUT) and the 9th imam for Twelver Shia.
Shining on his nickname, he is well known for his generosity as his distinguished attribute. He undertook the post of imamat at his very young age of nine, and thus, it looked surprising for ordinary people when he found him answering all their questions at the wisest. Therefore, some people were trying to test his knowledge based on their own ignorance. For example, once he was asked a question concerning Islamic jurisprudence. The Imam was asked, “What is atonement for a person who hunts a game while he is dressed in the pilgrimage garb (Ihram).” Imam Jawad (PBUH) responded, “your question is utterly vague and lacks definition. You should first clarify whether the killed game was outside the sanctified area or inside it; whether the hunter was aware of his sin or did so in ignorance; if he killed the game purposely or by mistake; if the hunter was a slave or a free man; if he was adult or minor; whether he committed the sin for the first time or he had done so before; if the hunted game was a bird or something else; if it was a small animal or a big one; if the sinner is sorry for the misdeed or he insists on it; if he killed it secretly at night or openly during daylight; if he was wearing the pilgrimage garb for Hajj or for the Umra? Unless you clarify and define these aspects, how can you have a definite answer?”

Martyrdom Anniversary – Imam Ali al-Naqi al-Hadi (PBUH)
Condolence on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali al-Naqi (PBUH).
He regretfully spent a considerable part of his imamat period in prisons of the Abbasids who thought could confine Imam’s effect on the society with confining his holy body. However, this was a practice for the Shia to get used to being physically away from their imam to bear the time of Imam Mahdi (May Allah Hasten His Great Return). Imam Hadi (PBUH) was martyred on 3rd of Rajab 254 AH in Samirrah, Iraq.

This week, Maghrib Adhan will be one hour late in comparison with that in last week due to the summer time change. So, whole the meeting will end up just before Maghrib Adhan. You may stay there for saying your prayers, probably by group prayer (jamaa’h).
Hope to see you all again.

* We have just passed the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hassan Askari (PBUH) which means that the leadership of Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his advent) has just started its anniversary for 1172nd year. So, happy anniversary, and we will say our congratulations to him with reciting his own special salavaat. Also, in order to respect the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hassan Askari (PBUH), his special salavaat will be recited. For a short history about Imam Hassan Askari (PBUH), you may find this link useful: http://zahrakarimi.blogfa.com/post-30.aspx. Further to that, 9th of Rabi’ al-Awwal is the anniversary of the earth-to-hell migration of the second usurper of the leadership of Imam Ali (PBUH) from . He and his companions falsely occupied the high position of Imam Ali (PBUH) that had already been appointed by the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&HF), and destroyed the stream that the Prophet had developed for directing human being for ever. Therefore, we will recite Dua Sanamy Quraysh – which is the dua that the Commander of the Believers (PBUH) used to recite in his qonut part of his prayers – to see the viewpoint of Ahl al-Bait to those usurpers.
** As there are some nice traditions about the topic of love and hate, which are worth mentioning, we will review them for this week, and will carry on discussion on Dua Nodbah by next week, God willing.
Please introduce the website to your friends studying or living in Liverpool. Thanks.
Hope to see you all again.
