Mourning Event on the Anniversary of Great Lady Fatima (PBUH) Martyrdom

Mourning Event on the Anniversary of Great Lady Fatima (PBUH) Martyrdom
Amid the wall and the wooden door,
Prophet’s daughter lied helplessly on the floor.
Her father sacrificed his youth for lighting the lamp;
she consumed herself; to brighten that lamp.
Cry of distress Zahra made;
a final farewell to the world she bade.
She gathered her children around her bed,
struggling to breathe; she firmly said;
“Oh the delight of my eyes,
raise your hands towards the skies.
I’ll make a prayer and pray with me.
Ya Allah hasten the death of mine.”
The young children gleamed with joy
to see their mother praying for her recovery …
How touching were those moments to see
them chanting “Ameen” so loudly!
Had Hassanian known, had Zainab known
that with this prayer, mother shall forever be gone;
They wouldn’t raise their tiny hands up
instead, would held onto their begging cup.
Asking kind Allah to make mother live long;
to give her strength & make her strong.
Alas, they were too young to know
how their innocent prayer would be answered in a go.
The impact of the injury was so great
for Mohsin to be saved; it was too late
his first home became his final abode
in womb of his mother, his death was bestowed

Muharram Mourning Commemoration in Liverpool
In the Name of Allah the Compassionate the Merciful
Muharram Mourning Commemoration in Liverpool
Muharram is on its way and it is to Shia to highlight it as it deserves. One of the highly advised deeds that a Shia can serve Ahl al-Bait with is to attend the commemoration events for Imam Hussein (PBUH) to remember the cruelty driven to him and his family (PBUT). To respect Ashouraa, Shia run mourning commemorations for 10 days starting from the 1st day of Muharram.
Similar to previous year, Liverpool Towhid Centre has planned for mourning commemoration in Liverpool. Due to the circumstances in Liverpool, the programme will be held for the final five days ending to Ashouraa. As a special programme on Ashouraa, a separate event will be held at its noon when it has been declared that the story of Ashouraa was at its peak. Details of the events have been mentioned in the following poster. The events will end by serving supper to the guests of Ahl al-Bait (PBUT).
The events are the outcome of hard work of some people, particularly the students, who have spent lots of their time to arrange, plan, manage and run the events. So, it is highly worthy to patronise their efforts by attending the events. This is further to the bonus due to highlighting the affairs of Ahl al-Bait (PBUT).

After Imam Baqir (PBUH) who well used the condition to talk about the real Islam, Imam Sadiq added significantly to the publication of Islam, pointing out the rationalism and excellence of the Shia with training numerous students, such as Jabir Ibn Hayyan out of his over 2000 students. Knowing about Jabir who is reputed as the ‘Father of Chemistry’ is enough to ponder who knowledgeable Jabir’s trainer has been. Tradition of Mufaddal is another example of the great knowledge Imam had. He developed Shia with revealing its wisdom which was suppressed by the wrong governments after the Prophet (PBUH&HF), and thus, Shia is attributed to Ja’fari as well. Obviously, such person could not be tolerated by the cruel Abbasid caliphs, and saddly, they found his martyrdom as the only way to halt him providing people with the truth, knowledge and wisdom.
Please do inform your friends of this event.
Hope to see you all.

It is worth mentioning that the SatNav set may direct you to another point (‘A’ on the map picture below) close to the centre but not the exact centre location. To prevent this, you may try the address ‘Heyworth Street, Liverpool’ on your SatNav which will probably direct to a point just 150 feet down Cochrane St.
Please do circulate it among your friends.
