Mourning Event on the Anniversary of Great Lady Fatima (PBUH) Martyrdom

Amid the wall and the wooden door,
Prophet’s daughter lied helplessly on the floor.
Her father sacrificed his youth for lighting the lamp;
she consumed herself; to brighten that lamp.
Cry of distress Zahra made;
a final farewell to the world she bade.
She gathered her children around her bed,
struggling to breathe; she firmly said;
“Oh the delight of my eyes,
raise your hands towards the skies.
I’ll make a prayer and pray with me.
Ya Allah hasten the death of mine.”
The young children gleamed with joy
to see their mother praying for her recovery …
How touching were those moments to see
them chanting “Ameen” so loudly!
Had Hassanian known, had Zainab known
that with this prayer, mother shall forever be gone;
They wouldn’t raise their tiny hands up
instead, would held onto their begging cup.
Asking kind Allah to make mother live long;
to give her strength & make her strong.
Alas, they were too young to know
how their innocent prayer would be answered in a go.
The impact of the injury was so great
for Mohsin to be saved; it was too late
his first home became his final abode
in womb of his mother, his death was bestowed

Condolence on the Martyrdom Anniversary of the Commander of Faithful, Ali Ibn Abitaalib, Amir al-Mo’meneen

وَ إذا الشَمسُ کـُوّرَت

And when the SUN is shrouded in darkness! (81:1)

… It was a long while he was broken of the perfidy and unfaithfulness of people … used to say frequently, “you are bored of me, and I am bored of you as well.” It was also a long while since the Prophet had left them. He was in strange mood that holy Ramadan … used to say secretly about leaving to the orphans of Koufah … and also, to Hassan and Hussain and Zainab and Umm Kolthum, spending every night of that holy Ramadan with one of them.

His last night, when he was with Umm Kolthum, rejected milk, and broke his fast with two pieces of barley bread and salt, said,

My daughter, whoever enjoys the best of clothes and food will be waiting longer later.

My daughter, one should answer for his lawfuls (halals) and there is big punishment for dealing with unlawfuls (haraams).

He spent whole night on praying … frequently saying, “verily, unto Allah we do belong, and verily, unto him we shall return.” … reciting Yaaseen, whispering, “By Allah, I have been truly said, and I am truly saying… this is the night in which my martyrdom has been promised.”

Kufah reached to the time of Fajr prayers … wishing it had not.

Step by step towards the mosque, … ducks took tips of his cloak, … he asked his daughter’s kindness on them, … door hook thought it could prevent him … but … he fastened his belt tighter … He is ALI Ibn Abitaalib, Commander of the Faithful!

He awaken his enemy lying on his chest … said, “it is not fair to sleep on your chest; this is the way devils do … do you wish me to say what you’ve hidden under your body?” … didn’t continue and left the lying unman on his own.

Finally, the sword landed and sat on an old scar on his head, and happened what was to happen.

And when the SUN is shrouded in darkness…

Gabriel cried, “by God, broke away the pillar of guidance; proofs of piety are gone; the survival link of human kind (urvat ol-vuthgaa) is torn; … Oh, cousin of Muhammad Mustafa has been martyred; succeedor of the Prophet has been martyred; Ali al-Murtada has been martyred; martyred him the most unblessed.”

Head looking on earth, blood dropping from his lighty white beard, “In the name of Allah, and as the custom of the people of the Messenger of Allah”… “By the lord of Ka’ba, I succeeded!”

And the pen fell down weeping…

Birth of Islam and Mission of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&HF)

“Read in the name of thy lord and cherisher who created: Created man out of a clot of congealed blood. Read! And thy lord is most bountiful, He who taught the use of pen; Taught man that which he knew not.”

To celebrate the birthday anniversary of Islam, and the commencement of the mission of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&HF), Liverpool Towhid Centre is running an event at the place of the centre. All brothers and sisters are invited to enjoy the celebrity of the anniversary of such great day.

The programme in Liverpool is on Friday 09 July 2010 and will start by 8.30 pm and will last until 10.30 pm with group prayers and supper. The venue is as usual at the centre the address of which is on the poster.

Also, another programme is held at Manchester Islamic Institute on Saturday, 10 July 2010, starting at 8 pm to celebrate the 1402^nd birthday of Islam and descent of the first verse of the Holy Quran to the great heart of the Messenger of Allah. The address of the venue is as follows:

Martyrdom Anniversary – Imam Ali al-Naqi al-Hadi (PBUH)

Condolence on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali al-Naqi (PBUH).

He regretfully spent a considerable part of his imamat period in prisons of the Abbasids who thought could confine Imam’s effect on the society with confining his holy body. However, this was a practice for the Shia to get used to being physically away from their imam to bear the time of Imam Mahdi (May Allah Hasten His Great Return). Imam Hadi (PBUH) was martyred on 3^rd of Rajab 254 AH in Samirrah, Iraq.

Birthday Anniversary – Imam Muhammad Baqir (PBUH)

Congratulations on the birthday anniversary of the fifth Successor of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&HF), Imam Muhammad Baqir (PBUH), the “Revealer of Knowledge” (Baqir ul-Ulum).

Being born in Medina on 1^st of Rajab 57 AH and being martyred on 7^th of Dhu ul-Hijjah 114 AH, he guided the people of his time for 20 years in the role of imam.

Imam Muhammad Baqir (PBUH) has said: “Our followers are of three kinds, one who follows us but depends on others, one who is like a glass involved in his own reflections, but the best are those who are like gold, the more they suffer the more they shine.”
