Daily Ghadeer Text Messages

In the Name of Allah the Compassionate the Merciful

Daily Ghadeer Text Messages

We are approaching the greatest religious festive, Eid Ghadeer anniversary.  Against some sorts of beliefs presenting Ghadeer as a separation point among the nation of Islam, it is clearly a unity point.  However, lack of information with people, or in other words, preventing some facts to be heard by all Muslims has caused creation of the idea that Ghadeer would be a separation.  The best solution to remove such belief is to release information and propagate the truth to all at the best.

Vahid Nooraddini, a fellow from Iran, has developed some 18 short messages to be easily sent by mobile sets in the form of text messages.  Each message ends to one Shiite reference and one Sunni reference.  The messages try to show that Ghadeer does not only belong to Shiites but to all Muslims and that it does not perform as a separation point.

People seeing these messages are kindly requested to send these messages to their friends and families.

“Certainly, I just conveyed what I have been ordered to convey as an argument against everyone, be him present or absent, a direct witness or not, and already born or not yet born. Hence, everyone who is present should convey (this sermon) to those who are absent, every parent should convey it to his/her children, (and they should continue to do so) until the Day of Judgement.” – A part of Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH&HF) last public sermon delivered in Ghadeer Khum.

Islamic Sessions for Young Muslims

In the Name of Allah the Compassionate the Merciful

Islamic Sessions for Young Muslims

One of the issues that Muslim families have in western countries is how to teach Islamic rules and beliefs to their youngsters and children.  The issue steps into more difficulties when the children are born in a country with non-Arabic language and there is no certain training on how to teach Fiqh and rules of Shriah to them.  Here an Islamic class in the language of the area will be of great help.  On the other hand, Muslims are supposed to know their duties on what they encounter daily.

Liverpool Towhid Centre, following its excellent performance since its latest re-development, has planned to run Islamic classes for the children and youngsters on biweekly basis.  Two main aims of the classes are to train the basic rules of Shriah and provide the ground for understanding the principles of Islam.  A native English who has studied Fiqh and Islamic studies in Qom will lecture within a very friendly environment.  Therefore, Liverpool Towhid Centre invites the parents to bring their children to the courses and also youngster to attend the classes.  It is expected that the attendees will learn and understand further about Islam to practise it with more wisdom and enjoy their religion.

After a long halt on Thursday meetings, LSS is restarting holding the weekly sessions with a new topic for lecture. Some of our friends have graduated their studies and have left and therefore, it is our duty to publicise the society to let the interested people know about it; because experience has shown that there have been many people who have been really anxious to attend such meetings while they did not know that they had LSS. So, please inform the others of the LSS and its meetings. Also, it is the start of new education season when new students come and they have no idea about the meetings whatsoever while they may need to be in contact for the spiritual aspect of the meetings or get help from their brothers and sisters.

After Dua Nodbah discussions, the new set of lectures will be about the relationship between Islam and science from Quran’s point of view. New study year has just commenced, and it is encouraging hearing how Quran has defined and talked about science, and what the Noble Quran’s advices are for those who are passing through this route.

Please do inform your friends about LSS and its meetings.

Hope to see you all again.

Condolence on the Demise Anniversary of Khadijah (PBUH)

In the Name of Allah the Compassionate the Merciful

Condolence on the Demise Anniversary of Khadijah (PBUH)

Having outstanding substantial characteristics, Khadijah (PBUH) was one of the very well-known Arab women since her daughterhood. As the first Arab tradeswoman, her reputation had travelled all around the Arab dynasty as a great lady, even before getting married to the Prophet (PBUH&HF). Before Islam, she was extremely careful about trading rules so as not to have anything haraam in her trade, and that had made a great wealth for her. It has been written in the history books that her thousands of camel were all the time in trade and travel in Egypt, Syria, Ethiopia and Hijaz with successful footprint.

Meanwhile another unique person called “Muhammad Amin” (trustworthy Muhammad) was concurrent with this lady. Having a long story, Khadijah (PBUH) had decided not to get re-married after the death of her second husband; however, meeting a high attitude person such as Muhammad (PBUH&HF) changed her mind to propose the marriage, and then her wealth to the Prophet (PBUH&HF).

Within the troubles and difficulties that the Prophet (PBUH&HF), his message and Muslims had after the rise of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&HF), not only was Khadijah (PBUH) a great support, companion and comforter, she had a role similar to a mother to the Muslims to keep them energetic for the purpose they had. Her extraordinary patience and enormous strength in withstanding against the problem were patterns for the Muslims. Furthermore, she did never withhold her wealth on the way of Islam, and backed the Prophet (PBUH&HF) to progress and boost his message.

Being the mother of the greatest lady of the whole creation, Fatimah (PBUH) is sufficient to demonstrate the level of Khadijah (PBUH), and would be enough to show what a great woman Khadijah (PBUH) was. She had so high personality that once when Gabriel (PBUH) was descending some verses of Quran for the Prophet, informed the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) that, “O’ the Messenger of Allah, convey the unique Allah’s salaam to Khadijah”. When the Messenger of Allah delivered the salaam to Khadijah, she answered, “The Almighty Allah Himself is the salaam itself [and its meaning], and the commence of salaam is from Him; my salaams and greetings to you Gabriel (PBIH)…”.

Losing her in the situation of sanction was a huge loss for the Prophet (PBUH&HF), and actually, the Messenger of Allah did not lose a wife but his biggest support and protect.
