Eid Ghadir 2009

In the name of Allah the compassionate the merciful

Certainly, I just conveyed what I have been ordered to convey as an argument against everyone, be him present or absent, a direct witness or not, and already born or not yet born. Hence, everyone who is present should convey (this sermon) to those who are absent, every parent should convey it to his/her children, (and they should continue to do so) until the Day of Judgement”, has asked the Messenger of Allah at Ghadir event (PBUH&HF).

Thanks be to the Almighty Allah, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&HF) and Ahl al-Bait that we were successful to celebrate the event of Eid Ghadir next to our Shia brothers and sisters. By the aid of God and Ahl al-Bait, eid event was celebrated on December 6th, 2009, in the place of one of our Shia brothers. Excellence of the event was really outstanding. The house was really fully decorated, and food, drink, cake, sweet, and even firework were provided for the full enjoyment of the Shia people attending Eid Ghadir ceremony to make it as remarkable as nobody would forget such fine feeling for ever.

Another noteworthy activity during the event was the establishment of the website of Liverpool Shia Society with this hope that the greatness of such holy day would gift the website a great success. Having performed a questionnaire-like system, the attendees agreed on the address of the website to be as it is now. All prayed for the success of the society, group members and the Shia all around the globe, and also, the website.

Before any activity, the guests got pleased from visiting a flag-like which had come from Kerbala, the holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (PBUH). Everybody was trying to make his own private for a minute, and dive into the lovely smell of the flag and its deep blessing. It was nice to see how these Shia youths connected their beliefs and feeling with the person to whom the flag was referred, Imam Hussain (PBUH).

After honourable Hadith Kissaa was recited and the website was established, the guests attended an astonishing firework provided by the house owner and run by two of the guys. It was so nice that I am sure none would forget that whole life long. This is exactly what the Shia have been advised to remark Eid Ghadir as highly as they can.

Later on, all enjoyed having the foods and drinks followed by cake and sweets; all were provided by the sisters. This part of the event was as outstanding as the previous parts because of that delicious stuff the sisters had provided.

In addition to all the pleasure of such ceremony and the blessing of such special day, attending these events reinforces the connections among the Shia, and unifies them for improving and respecting the ideology; this is why the Shia have been advised to have the plan of contributing in events in their life diary.

And say: ‘Praise be to Allah who has guided us to this. Never could we be guided had Allah not guided us’”, has said the Messenger of Allah (PBUH&HF) in Ghadir Sermon.
